DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE CAIRO
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be met by Egypt representative who will
assist you through airport customs & formalities.
You will be escorted immediately to your hotel in one of our air-conditioned modern vehicles (official check-in time around 15.00 hrs.)
Arrive to hotel, check in and overnight.
DAY 02: HALF DAY PYRAMIDS TOUR (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, meet your private Egyptologist guide at the lobby who will escort you for a Half Day tour to visit the famous Pyramids:
Firstly you will visit The Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor, is the largest of the three main Pyramids and is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World. It is the northernmost and oldest pyramid of the group was built for Khufu (Greek: Cheops), the second king of the 4th dynasty. The Great Pyramid is the largest of the three, the length of each side at the base averaging 755.75 feet (230 metres) and its original height being 481.4 feet (147 metres).
Then you will visit The Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved. The pyramid of Khafre or of Chephren is the middle of the three Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza, the second tallest and second largest of the group. It is the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chefren), who ruled c. 2558−2532 BC. Next you will visit The Pyramid of Mycerinus. The pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three main pyramids of the Giza pyramid complex. It is thought to have been built to serve as the tomb of the Egyptian Pharaoh Menkaure.
Nearby see the most famous Sphinx which is the Great Sphinx of Giza. A marvellous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion's body stretching 45m, with its paws 15m long. It is one of the largest and oldest statues in the world. Archeologists believe that it was carved around 2500 BC and that the head is meant to be the likeness of the Pharaoh Khafra. The Great Sphinx faces the sunrise and guards the pyramid tombs of Giza.
Next, visit the Papyrus Institute and learn how paper was made in ancient times. You will also get the chance to shop at the Papyrus Museum, Perfume factory and Jewellery shop. Thereafter, transfer back to the hotel. Afternoon & evening will be free at leisure.

DAY 03: HALF DAY EGYPTIAN MUSEUM TOUR (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, meet your private Egyptologist guide at the lobby who will escort you for a Half Day tour to visit Egyptian Museum where two hours are spent at the richest Museum in the world accompanied by our guide & enjoying his explanation about the history.
The Egyptian Museum is one of the world's most important museums of ancient history and one of its great spectacles. Here, the treasures of Tutankhamun lay alongside the grave goods, mummies, jewellery, eating bowls and toys of Egyptians whose names are lost to history. The Egyptian museum in Cairo houses over 120,000 artifacts, including the contents of Tutankhamen's tomb and most of the mummies that have been discovered since the 19th century. The museum's exhibits span from the beginning of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt (approximately 2700 BC) through the Greco-Roman period.
Thereafter, transfer back to the hotel. Afternoon & evening will be free at leisure.

DAY 04: CAIRO - LUXOR TOUR (B, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport fly to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, meet your Egypt Egyptologist tour guide who will pick you up to Explore the West bank (Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut temple) & East Bank (the complex of Karnak and Luxor temple).
Valley of the Kings is used as a burial chamber for nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, the Valley of the Kings was used for royal burials for the Kings, their families, and their possessions. In 1979, it became a World Heritage Site, as well as the rest of the Theban Necropolis.
The mortuary temple of Hatshepsut (meaning "Holy of Holies") is a mortuary temple built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. It is considered to be a masterpiece of ancient architecture.
The Temple of Karnak was believed to be the spot where creation began. They also believed it was a point of interaction between the god Amun-Ra and Egyptians. It is important to Egypt's cultural history because it was a place of worship and provides clues about the ancient Egyptian religion. On the other hand, Luxor Temple was the main venue for one the most important of ancient Egyptian religious celebrations.
Thereafter, transfer to your hotel in Luxor to check-in and overnight.
DAY 05: LUXOR - CAIRO DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, you will be transfer to Luxor airport for final departure to Cairo and back home with sweet memories & friends you made in Egypt.
