Janki Chatti is situated seven km before Yamunotri and this place is popular for its thermal water springs. It is situated at an elevation of 2650 metres and is popularly known for its natural hot springs. It encompasses the last village of the region and it acts as a major hub for pilgrims travelling to Yamunotri. Janki Chatti is the starting of the ascend to Yamunotri dham.
