It was established in the year 1957 with the sole purpose of promoting and preserving the fine ethnic arts and crafts of Sikkim.Some of the major attractions of the region are Basohli paintings, Basohli pashmina shawls, Tweed Products, Phoolkari, Stapple Embroidery, Bamboo craft.
