DAY 01: DISCOVER CHIANG MAI > CULTURAL SHOW (Dinner)
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International airport, greeted with a warm welcome by our friendly personnel. You will be assisted at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
The blissfully calm and laid-back capital of the North, Chiang Mai never fails to charm visitors with its mountainous landscape and lush farmlands. It is famous for its beautiful ancient temples, thought there is much more to see and do.
From the airport you will be having a city orientation before heading up to the hotel of your choice. First is the Chiang Mai City Walls. The old town of Chiang Mai was protected by a long thick brick built city wall. Amazingly there are a number of sections of the wall still standing along with the old Chiang Mai city gates. The city layout was based on ancient military and astrological beliefs.
From thereon, have the knowledge about the The Three Kings Monument Square in Chiang Mai, it is a large open square in the heart of the walled Old Town. The statue portrays the Three Founders of Chiang Mai, King Mengrai, King Ramkhamhaeng and King Ngam Muang. The sculpture of three kings is a symbol of Chang Mai.
Next is the Tha Pae Gate, its one of the Most Famous Landmarks in Chiang Mai and is part of the crumbling city wall which once acted as a fortress for the ‘Old City’ (and still today acts as a geographical boundary). It marks the east entrance to the old walled city of Chiang Mai. It’s a busy meeting place for locals, tourists and pigeons!
Thereafter, had a visit to Wat Chedi Luang Temple "Temple of Great Stupa". One of the Most Beautiful Temples in the Old City. Highlights are its massive stupa and the viharn that houses a large standing golden Buddha.

➤ Explore the Royal Flora Garden by Cable Car it is a horticultural exhibition in the city of Chiang Mai where visitors can admire thousands of species of trees and flowers on 80 hectares of landscaped gardens. The park is named after Thailand’s national flower Ratchaphruek (Cassia fistula or golden shower tree) with its beautiful yellow blossom. One of the park’s highlights is the orchid pavilion with its countless species of orchids in many colors.


➤ Located in the resort area with stream and green yard, various trees and flowers that good for relax or picnic, experience the Thai Costume plus a DIY Krathong (water lantern) at Lanna Resort- Valley Cafe. This was among the first nature café's of its kind where you could enjoy a nice ice coffee with your feet in a river surrounded by beautiful greenery. The real highlights exist in all the open space you have to run around and even have a picnic.


Krathong is a Thai term that refers to a piece of banana trunk decorated with flowers, banana leaves, candles, and incense sticks.


➤ After dinner at one of the local restaurant visit Chiangmai Night Bazaar. It is considered the largest market in Chiang Mai with more than one hundred stalls on sale. Coming to Chiang Mai without experiencing at the Night Bazaar is considered as not having been to Chiang Mai - it is a witty saying spread among tourists when traveling to Chiang Mai - Thailand. Indeed, the Bazaar night market has a lot to offer for tourist: from food, fashion to souvenirs.
