Lunch is served at a local restaurant. We’ll then visit the Majestic Prambanan Temple, also known as Candi Prambanan. It is one of the most iconic and significant temple complexes in Southeast Asia and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Prambanan was built during the 9th century during the reign of the Mataram Kingdom's Sanjaya Dynasty. It is dedicated to the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity of Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver), and Shiva (the destroyer). The temple complex is a masterpiece of Javanese architecture and consists of several temple structures. The central compound features three main temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, surrounded by numerous smaller temples, each dedicated to various deities and mythological figures. (Guests only at courtyard are not allowed to go up to the temple)
Finally, we’ll drive to see the Amazing Active Sikidang Craters. Unlike some other volcanic craters, Sikidang is not a dormant or extinct crater but rather a bubbling and active one.
