DAY 01: ARRIVE NEW DELHI

Namaste & welcome to New Delhi, the capital of India. Just over a century ago, the British shifted the seat of their empire from Kolkata to Delhi, and it has remained the nation’s capital ever since. With a history stretching back thousands of years, Delhi is a city where ancient culture meets modern life. As the seat of powerful empires, the city proudly showcases carefully preserved monuments, majestic forts, and historical tombs. Legend has it that Delhi is as old as the epic Mahabharata, once known as Indraprastha, the city of the Pandavas.
Upon arrival, our representative will greet you with a traditional Indian welcome and assist you through a brief orientation. You will then be transferred to your hotel of choice for a comfortable overnight stay.

Legend has it that in 1876, during the visit of the Prince of Wales, the Maharaja of Jaipur painted the entire city pink as a symbol of hospitality, giving Jaipur its iconic rosy hue. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, this remarkable example of Rajput architecture features 953 intricately designed windows across five levels, allowing royal women to observe the bustling streets below while remaining unseen.
Next, ascend the hill to the magnificent Amer Fort, one of India’s most breathtaking palaces. Constructed in 1592 by Maharaja Man Singh I, this pink and yellow sandstone marvel served as the primary residence of the Rajput rulers. En-route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a striking city constructed almost entirely of red sandstone. Founded in 1571 by Emperor Akbar, this fortified city served as the capital of the Mughal Empire for fifteen years. Explore its architectural marvels, including Buland Darwaza, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, and the Jama Masjid Mosque, celebrated as one of India’s best-preserved examples of Mughal design.

DAY 06: DEPART FOR SHIMLA [380KM APPROX.8HRS] (B, D)
After breakfast depart for Shimla, one of India’s most popular Hill Resort, situated in the North-west Himalayas.
Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and was omce the glorious summer resort of the British Raj, famous for its Snowcapped Peaks, Apples, and Pine Forest and Flowers.
Optional (RM80) At the final leg take a toy train to reach Shimla. The Kalka-Shimla Toy Train, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which connects the Indian plains to the ‘Queen of Hills,’ Shimla. Built in 1903, this toy train ride is one of India’s most incredible feats of engineering covering a staggering 102 tunnels, 864 bridges and 919 stunning curves.

DAY 07: TOUR SHIMLA + KUFRI (B, D)
After breakfast, depart to Kufri, a Small Hill Station in Himachal Pradesh.
This place is widely acknowledged for its undulating Mountain Terrains and Lush Greenery.
After Kufri, visit Chail Palace, A beautiful palace with ornate furniture, charming cottages, delightful log huts and thick forests where you can enjoy quiet walks.
Thereafter proceed to the Tara Devi Temple which has breathtaking views of the countryside.
Afternoon proceed on a Discovery tour of Shimla. Visit the Ridge which is a good place to view the 7 Majestic Hills of Shimla.
Further along the same road is Lakkar Bazaar, which is a good place to buy some handicrafts and other souvenirs.
Visit the St. Michael's Cathedral, a famous landmark designed in the typical Elizabethan style and consists of a great collection of books and ancient scriptures.
Thereafter take a leisure walk in the Beautiful Mall Road of Shimla. This road, constructed during British colonial rule, has numerous showrooms, shops, eateries and cafés.

DAY 08: TRAVEL TO CHANDIGARH [120KM APPROX.3.5HRS] (B, D)
Departure from Shimla: After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, depart for Chandigarh, approximately 120 km away. Enjoy a comfortable 3.5-hour drive through scenic Himachal countryside, passing lush green fields, gentle hills, and quaint villages along the way.
Arrival and Check-in: Upon arrival in Chandigarh, check in at your hotel and freshen up before starting your city exploration.
Rock Garden Visit: Begin your tour with the famous Rock Garden, a unique artistic marvel created entirely from discarded industrial and household waste.
