DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE KK AND TOUR JAMBATAN TAMPARULI, PEKAN NABALU & KIANABALU PARK (D)
Upon arrival, meet, greet and transfer approximately 2hrs drive to Kundasang.
Kundasang, located in the highlands southeast side of Gunung Kinabalu. It is relatively untouched by conventional tourism, and is surrounded by natural beauty, lush greenery and exotic wildlife. At an elevation of 6,200ft, Kundasang is the highest inhabited town in Malaysia. While this mountain town is popular for its fresh vegetable markets, there are lots of fun things to do in Kundasang!
En-route stop at Jambatan Tamparuli, Pekan Nabalu and The Kinabalu Park, A World Heritage Site with incredible mega bio-diversity of flora and fauna, a heaven for nature enthusiasts.
Enjoy a guided nature trail amongst the many trails in the park before being dropped off at your hotel in Kundasang for dinner and overnight

DAY 02: EXPLORE KUNDASANG – HOTSPRING VISIT, DESA FARM, RUMAH TERBALIK AND RETURN TO KK (B, L, D)
After breakfast check out and transfer to Poring Hot Spring Poring comes from a Kadazan-Dusun word which means bamboo and is found abundant in this area. Here you can spend the day relaxing with a dip into a hot sulphur bath which helps to reduce stress by relaxing tense muscles as well as promote good sleep.
For a closer look at nature, take the 41m high Canopy Walk which offers a spectacular view of the Borneo Rainforest’s flora and fauna. Rafflesia, the largest flower in the world is one of the main attractions here.
Depart from Poring to Desa Dairy Farm, located at the foothill of Mount Kinabalu, Desa Cattle Dairy Farm offers one of the most amazing scenery one could envision. Often chosen as a wedding photography destination, with the majestic Mount Kinabalu overlooking beautiful green pastures, the scenery is breathtaking, not forgetting the cool breeze that Kundasang has to offer. Here you are provided with a good education to understand how fresh milk is being processed from raw to finish product.
The best time to visit the farm is around 2.30pm as milking session starting at 3pm everyday. You can see all the cows are lining up waiting for milking.
Thereafter return to Kundasang and journey back to Kota Kinabalu.
En-route stop at Rumah Terbalik (which translates to “Upside Down House”), turn your wold upside down when you visit this unique house in Tamparuli. The first of its kind in Southeast Asia and among the five upside down structures in the world. (3 are found in Europe and another in Japan)
Evening, transfer for dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at city hotel/resort.
DAY 03: FULLDAY EXPLORE MANUKAN & SAPI ISLAND (B, L, D)
After breakfast proceed for a Day Trip to Manukan & Sapi Island.
Manukan Island is the second largest island of Tunku Abdul Rahman’s Marine Park and offers a huge array of Water Activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, parasailing and other various water sports activities for those water sports enthusiasts.
Manukan also has a long stretch of White Sandy Beach which spans about 1,500 Meter at the southern side of the island, facing a bay of crystal clear and tranquil sea. The water is so calm and shallow that it’s also suitable for non-swimmers.
Sapi Island is one of the most popular places in Sabah to swim, snorkel and relax and it is just 20 minutes boat ride away from Kota Kinabalu. Some of the top attractions include the island’s distinctive wildlife, quaint hidden beaches and coral flying, said to be the coolest attraction on this island. This Coral Flyer claims to be the longest island-to-island zipline in the world. This flying fox (aerial ropeway) links Sapi to Gaya Island, a distance of 250m at speeds of up to 60 kph.
You may also take a Walk to Gaya Island. At low tide it is possible to walk across the sand bar connecting to Gaya though you need to take care not to get cut off.
One of the other top attractions here is a secret cliff which is located 800 meters from the ground. The picture-perfect and pristine view from the cliff is worth exploring.
0900hrs: Pick up from hotel lobby and transfer to jetty.
0930hrs: Board boat for about 10-15minutes to Manukan Island. Free to swim, enjoy beach activities and snorkel on your own.
After a Sumptuous BBQ Lunchyou will be transferred to Sapi Island. Free to explore the activities available in Sapi on your own.
1500 hrs: Standby at the island jetty for departure.
Note: Recommended items to bring: insect repellent, drinking water, hat, sun block, camera or video, swim wear, towel and good walking shoes or sandals.
Evening, transfer for dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 04: MARI MARI CULTURAL VILLAGE TOUR (B, L, D)
After breakfast depart for Mari Mari Cultural Village which offers one, glimpses into the lives of Sabah’s rich culture with its distinctive houses, costumes and traditional skills of The 5 major Sabah Ethnic Group; the farmers and traders Dusun and Rungus, the hunters and fishermen Lundayeh, the cowboys and sea gypsies Bajau, and the famously feared warrior tribe Murut. Experience, see, hear, taste and feel the uniqueness of what Sabah truly is. An unforgettable encounter of our Sabahan homeland... AS IT WAS... AS IT IS...
The village is located about 25 minutes away from the city. Journey will take you to long roads surrounded by a rich spectrum of greenery and overarched by wild blue skies.

Upon arrival at the entrance of the village, you will be ushered to the warmth of different homes of the ethnicities of Sabah.
Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent and offer you a truly genuine experience seeing everything in and around the village lends to its magical powers of taking you back in time.
Not only does this village portray these tribes through the architectural genius of their traditional houses, but also through a range of simulated lives of the olden epoch by the residents of the village.
Acquaint yourself with each tribe as they let you come into their house and their simple yet intricate lives.

DAY 05: FREE DAY TO EXPLORE KOTA KINABALU AND DEPART. (B)
After breakfast at hotel free for personal activities or explore Kota Kinabalu on your own.
