DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE HO CHI MINH | TOUR OF DOWNTOWN SAIGON (D)
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh airport, greeted with a warm welcome by our friendly personnel. You will be assisted at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Ho Chi Minh is the largest city, business and financial hub of Vietnam. Known as Saigon, it has a prominent history going back a 100 years. There are lots of museums showcasing the country's dark wartime history and classic colonial architecture built by former French rulers.
Proceed on a Short Discovery of Downtown Saigon.
Established by the French colonists in 1863, explore the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. All materials were sourced from Marseille in France including the bright red bricks that still retain their vibrant color today.
You will find a beautiful well tended garden in front of the church where lies the imposing statue of Our Lady of Peace, Regina Pacis. The granite statue of the Virgin Mary was made in Rome.
Next visit the Iconic Saigon Post Office. Designed by the French architect Alfred Foulhoux in 1886 it depicts classic elements of Gothic Renaissance and French colonial design. Walking inside you will feel as though you’ve been temporarily whisked out of Asia and transported to a 20th century European train station.
Proceed for dinner at a local Vietnamese Restaurant.
Overnight stay at the hotel of your choice.
DAY 02: TRAVEL AND EXPLORE THE HIGHLANDS OF DA LAT | TRUC LAM PAGODA | TUYEN LAM LAKE | DA LAT NIGHT MARKET (B, L, D)
After breakfast depart the picturesque Honeymoon Capital of Vietnam, Da Lat. Blessed with a cool climate, flowerbeds and charming French colonial buildings the city is dubbed Little Paris & The City of a Thousand Flowers. The temples are surrounded by gardens and forests that make it a very peaceful place.
You will be taking a Cable Car Ride Over the Pine Forest to reach this Pagoda.
