DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE AT COLOMBO> TRAVEL TO NEGOMBO
Meet and assist on arrival at Colombo International Airport by Travels Representative. Transfer from Airport to Negombo.

Sri Lanka is a country located in South Asia. It is an island nation situated in the Indian Ocean, to the southeast of India. The capital and largest city of Sri Lanka is Colombo. It is known for its diverse landscapes, including lush rainforests, stunning beaches, highlands, and fertile plains.
Negombo is a coastal city located in the Western Province of Sri Lanka, not far from Colombo, the capital. It's known for its beautiful beaches, fishing industry, and vibrant local culture.
DAY 02: TRAVEL TO SIGIRYA >DAMBULLA>SIGIRYA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya (Approx. 180 km / 5 hrs).
En route, visit the magnificent Dambulla Rock Temple, one of Sri Lanka’s best preserved cave temples. Rising 160 meters above the surrounding plains, this sacred site offers sweeping panoramic views. Inside the caves, marvel at the exquisite murals depicting scenes from the life of the Buddha and discover more than 150 Buddha statues, each carefully preserved for centuries. (Entrance fee approx. USD 10 per person)
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the world-renowned Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks. Begin your ascent through the majestic “Lion Paws” entrance, climbing approximately 1,200 steps up and down. Along the way, admire the ancient frescoes, water gardens, and unique architecture that showcase the brilliance of King Kashyapa’s 5th-century engineering. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views across the lush central plains. (Entrance fee approx. USD 35 per person)
After descending, visit the Sigiriya Museum, where insightful exhibits and archaeological findings provide a deeper understanding of the fortress’s remarkable history and cultural significance.

DAY 03: TRAVEL TO MATALE> EXPLORE KANDY (B, L, D)
After breakfast proceed to Kandy (A UNESCO World Heritage Site), The Last Royal Capital of The Sri Lankan Kings (Approx: 180KM / 4HRS).
En route Continue your journey and make a stop at a Spice Garden in Matale, where you can witness the cultivation of Sri Lanka’s world-renowned spices such as cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg, and cloves. Enjoy a guided tour through the garden, learn about their culinary and medicinal uses, and discover the secrets of traditional Ayurvedic remedies. This visit provides both an educational and aromatic experience, showcasing one of the country’s treasured natural resources.
Thereafter proceed on A Discovery Tour of Kandy.
Kandy, a World Heritage Site, was last ruled by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe and was brought under the British rule in 1815. Kandy crafts an array of culture, history and heritage in the minds of visitors across the globe. Experience an ancient Kandyan legacy engraved around its crown jewel, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha.
Take a stroll across this small Lakeside Town which is cradled among the misty hills. Proceed on to The Kandy City Centre which is bundled with bazaars, an arts & crafts centre, as well as a gem museum & lapidary. Walk in color as you glide through fresh fruits and vegetables in the Kandy market.
In the evening witness the famous Sri Lankan Cultural Show. The stepping to the beat of traditional music & drumming amplified by a cultural show enhancing the rich and vibrant culture of the Wonder of Asia, Sri Lanka.

DAY 04: VISIT TEA PLANTATION> TRAVEL & EXPLORE NUWARA ELIYA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Board one of the world’s most scenic train rides! Travel from Kandy to Nanuoya through misty mountains, tea plantations, and waterfalls. Every curve offers postcard views. This is optional, seats are limited (subject to availability) and bookings open 30 days ahead. Prices: RM 78 (1st Class), RM 58 (2nd Class), including taxes, pickup/drop-off, and guide.
Known as the Little England of Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya is surrounded by mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and tea plantations. The climate is cool, like an English spring, and nights get chilly. The town still shows its British influence with cottages and colonial mansions. Victoria Park, in the center, is ideal for a stroll, picnic, or birdwatching.
Enjoy the Ceylon Tea Experience at a plantation. See how tea is picked, processed, and packed — a tradition since the 1850s. Sri Lanka remains one of the world’s largest tea exporters.
After lunch, continue with a City Tour of Nuwara Eliya. Winding roads, tea estates, colonial bungalows, hedgerows, and an 18-hole golf course reflect the British charm.
Walk through grassy paths and red-brick walls for beautiful countryside views. Drive through valleys dotted with waterfalls and tea pluckers in colorful saris. You can also take a boat ride or cycle (at own cost) along Lake Gregory.
Visit the Seetha Amman Temple, linked to the Ramayana. Sitadevi is believed to have stayed here, with Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and Hanuman also worshipped. Footprints believed to be Hanuman’s can be seen by the river.

DAY 05: TRAVEL TO GALLE>VISIT KOSGODA>EXPLORE KOGGALA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, procced the journey to Galle (Approx. 250 km / 5 hr) for a discovery tour of this historic coastal city. Begin with a visit to the magnificent Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site originally built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later expanded by the Dutch. Explore the fort’s well-preserved ramparts, colonial buildings, and cobbled streets that echo with history.
Take a leisurely walk through the charming Dutch-era streets, lined with boutique shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes. Experience the blend of European architecture with Sri Lankan culture that makes Galle so unique. Conclude your tour with a visit to the iconic Galle Lighthouse, an enduring landmark that has guided ships safely to shore for centuries and remains one of the most photographed spots in the city.
Continue the journey to Kosgoda, where you will visit the Turtle Hatchery. Here, learn about Sri Lanka’s sea turtle conservation efforts and see how baby turtles are protected and later released into the ocean.

DAY 06: TRAVEL BACK TO COLOMBO>  DEPART (B, L, D)
After breakfast at leisure or leave for Colombo (Approx:120KM/2HRS).
Upon arrival, proceed on a Discovery Tour of Colombo. Drive along the clean streets edging the Crystal White Race Course, a horse racing hub in 1893 & World War II airstrip, today furnished with lavish clothing, food & tea boutiques.
Visit Pettah for the Sri Lankan Bazaar Shopping experience, where you can shop for spices, clothing, and witness the famous Red Mosque (Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque). Built in 1908, this striking red-and-white candy-striped landmark is one of the oldest mosques in Colombo and a prominent symbol of the city’s Islamic heritage.
Head along towards 'Arcade Independence' and ODEL for designer shopping and top-notch cuisine, facing the beautiful Independence Square.
Every boutique, food outlet and even the 'walk-over fish tank' have revamped this colonial masterpiece into one of the trendiest shopping and hangout zones in Sri Lanka.
Have a chilled beer at the Dutch Hospital, a heritage building now transformed with fashionable shops, jewelry & handicraft brands.
Make a photo stop at Lotus Stadium, a lotus-shaped sports and events arena symbolizing purity and cultural heritage.
Conclude with a photo stop at Lotus Tower, Sri Lanka’s tallest skyscraper and a modern city icon.
