DAY 01: ARRIVE COLOMBO

DAY 02: TRAVEL TO SIGIRYA >DAMBULLA>SIGIRYA (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will then transfer from Negombo to Sigiriya. |

Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock, is an ancient rock fortress located in the central Matale District of Sri Lanka. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic and historically significant landmarks in the country. Sigiriya dates back to the 5th century AD and was built by King Kasyapa I. It served as both a royal palace and a fortress. The site has great historical and archaeological significance, offering insights into ancient Sri Lankan culture, architecture, and engineering. |

Dambulla is a town located in the Matale District of Sri Lanka. It's renowned for its historical and cultural significance, primarily centered around the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. |

In the city of Dambulla lies a hub which has been treasured by many kings since the 1st century B.C. Today, an icon in the face of Sri Lanka, Dambulla Rock Temple houses some of the most unique drawings in magnificently constructed 5 cave temples flanking the golden temple of Dambulla. Observe how exquisitely cave paintings are done along walls that shelter 150 statues of Lord Buddha. As you enter the retreat, look straight up to the gigantic Buddha statue glittering in gold over a land, which today houses an important junction in the country's economic and cultural uplifting. |

DAY 04: VISIT TEA PLANTATION> TRAVEL & EXPLORE NUWARA ELIYA (B, L, D)

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, Board One of the World’s Most Breathtaking Train Journeys!. Get ready to embark on the legendary scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanuoya. A journey through misty mountains, emerald tea plantations, and cascading waterfalls. Every twist and turn of the track offers postcard-worthy views, making this experience a favorite among travelers worldwide. This is an optional experience with limited seats, and bookings open 30 days in advance—early reservation is strongly recommended. Enjoy the Ceylon Tea Experience which involves a visit to A plantation to observe firsthand the process. Starting from the plucking field where it all begins with the picking of "two leaves and a bud" to the factory where the processing begins. Originally introduced to the island around 1850 by the British, Ceylon Tea is world famous for its high quality and has remained a major contributor to the island's economy for generations. Currently, Sri Lanka is one of largest exporter of tea worldwide. |

After Lunch at Restaurant, proceed on a City Tour of Nuwara Eliya. Misty steep roads, twisting through lush green blankets of tea bushes in a cool climate, remind visitors that they are within the range of the renowned British colonial retreat. Augmented by an English countryside atmosphere, this city was once governed by the English & Scottish planters and is still studded with colonial bungalows, hedgerows & one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the world. |

You can also visit the epic Seetha Amman Temple. She is said to have bathed in this stream and it is believed that Lord Hanuman the monkey God had visited Seethadevi here. Now there is temple for Lord Rama, Sitadevi, Luxshmana, and Hanuman by the side of this stream. It is interesting to note that foot prints akin to Lord Hanuman's are found by this river. |

DAY 05: RAWANA ELLA CAVE + YALA SAFARI (B, L, D)

After breakfast proceed to Kataragama, visit the Rawana Ella Cave. This cave is in the huge Ella Rock. Hanuman the monkey god, is said to have climbed up Ella Rock, in order to find Seetha in the cave. Seetha lived in this Cave for some time. |

After Lunch at a Restaurant, proceed to visit the Yala National Park, with a total protected area of 126,768 hectares, Yala consists of scrub plains, lagoons and rocky sections and offers the broadest cross-section of the countrys flora and fauna. In terms of game viewing this is probably the best place to see all of the big three elephant, leopard and water buffalo. It is estimated that Yala is home to about 35 Leopard making it one of the worlds densest leopard populations. Countless other animals including sloth bear, deer, wild boar, crocodiles, monkeys and numerous species of birds can also be seen here. |
