On the field of vihara there is a statue of Kwan Im Goddess that very large, reportedly the statue is the largest Kwan Im goddess in Indonesia, even in Southeast Asia which has a height of about 22.8 meters.
Enroute stop at Patent Shop to buy local food products such as Teng Teng or Ting Ting, a peanut delicacy.
Arrive at Parapat, a town on the shore of serene Lake Toba.
As Parapat is situated right by Lake Toba, it also offers many water-based activities such as kayaking, canoeing, fishing, water skiing, paddle-boating and speed-boating. One main reason visitors come to Parapat is for the breath-taking view of Lake Toba and to take a ferry to the one-of-a-kind Samosir Island. This town is the main starting and returning point for all passenger ferries that go to Samosir Island.
LAKE TOBA is the world's largest crater lake as well as being the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one of the deepest in the world. The lake is a lovely expanse of water surrounded by beautiful hills. The lake also has an abundance of flora and fauna, overgrown with pine and palm trees with wild animals such as monkeys, orangutans, langur monkeys and tapirs.

After breakfast at hotel, we will take a ferry trip across the crystal clear waters of lake Toba to Samosir Island a large Volcanic island that is located in the middle of Lake Toba and has claimed to be the fifth largest lake island in the world.The island is the center of the batak toba culture and many of this peoples artifacts remain on the island.
Visit Tomok Village to see the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar,
The tomb complex contains three graves of kings and several graves of relatives. The first king and the second king had not embraced the divine religion but still followed the local beliefs called Parmalim. The third king, named Solompoan Sidabutar, had embraced Christianity. He was among the earlier Batak leaders who adopted the new religion and helped shaped the modern Batak culture. He was also one of the most powerful kings as he possessed supernatural powers. According to the legend, he never cut his hair to remain supernaturally powerful.
Back to Parapat and transfer to local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, tour continues around 4 hours journey to Berastagi. Enroute stop at Simarjarunjung where you can try the ginger tea and fried banana here (own expenses) falling from a great height in Karo Highlands. DAY 01: ARRIVE MEDAN> TRAVEL TO PARAPAT> SIANTAR> KWAN IM TEMPLE> PATENT SHOP> PARAPAT> LAKE TOBA> (Lunch/Dinner)

➤ You will be greeted by your tour guide on arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport in Medan.


➤ Transfer to local restaurant for lunch.


➤ After lunch, proceed around 5 hours journey to Parapat Lake Toba via Pematang Siantar Town.


PEMATANG SIANTAR TOWN is the 2nd largest city in North Sumatera and pass through many rubber and palm oil plantations.Siantar is famous for Batak culture, 'Batik' and 'Ulos' fabric, and Batak foods. Most of Pematangsiantar's food styles are inherited from Batak and Chinese traditional food.


➤ Visit Kwan Im Temple in Siantar .Vihara Avalokitesvara in Pematang Siantar is a place of worship for Buddhists. On the field of vihara there is a statue of Kwan Im Goddess that very large, reportedly the statue is the largest Kwan Im goddess in Indonesia, even in Southeast Asia which has a height of about 22.8 meters.


➤ Enroute stop at Patent Shop to buy local food products such as Teng Teng or Ting Ting, a peanut delicacy.


➤ Arrive at Parapat, a town on the shore of serene Lake Toba.


➤ As Parapat is situated right by Lake Toba, it also offers many water-based activities such as kayaking, canoeing, fishing, water skiing, paddle-boating and speed-boating. One main reason visitors come to Parapat is for the breath-taking view of Lake Toba and to take a ferry to the one-of-a-kind Samosir Island. This town is the main starting and returning point for all passenger ferries that go to Samosir Island.


LAKE TOBA is the world's largest crater lake as well as being the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one of the deepest in the world. The lake is a lovely expanse of water surrounded by beautiful hills. The lake also has an abundance of flora and fauna, overgrown with pine and palm trees with wild animals such as monkeys, orangutans, langur monkeys and tapirs.

DAY 02: SAMOSIR ISLAND> TOMOK VILLAGE > SIMARJARUNJUNG> SIPISO PISO WATERFALLS> BERASTAGI> CENTRAL FRUIT MARKET (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

➤ After breakfast at hotel, we will take a ferry trip across the crystal clear waters of lake Toba to Samosir Island a large Volcanic island that is located in the middle of Lake Toba and has claimed to be the fifth largest lake island in the world.The island is the center of the batak toba culture and many of this peoples artifacts remain on the island.


➤ Visit Tomok Village to see the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar,


➤ The tomb complex contains three graves of kings and several graves of relatives. The first king and the second king had not embraced the divine religion but still followed the local beliefs called Parmalim. The third king, named Solompoan Sidabutar, had embraced Christianity. He was among the earlier Batak leaders who adopted the new religion and helped shaped the modern Batak culture. He was also one of the most powerful kings as he possessed supernatural powers. According to the legend, he never cut his hair to remain supernaturally powerful.


➤ Back to Parapat and transfer to local restaurant for lunch.


➤ After lunch, tour continues around 4 hours journey to Berastagi. Enroute stop at Simarjarunjung where you can try the ginger tea and fried banana here (own expenses) falling from a great height in Karo Highlands. The Karo Highlands is famous for its rich volcanic soils and is a major growing area, shipping vegetables, fruits and cut flowers to markets throughout Sumatra and other regions of Indonesia.


➤ Stop at Sipiso Piso waterfall to see this magnificent 110 metres tall waterfall and an extraordinary view of Lake Toba from the north side.


➤ It is one of the highest waterfalls in Indonesia. The name Sipiso-piso means “knife-like” reflecting its tall, thin, gleaming stream and the way it cuts into the face of the cliff.


➤ Proceed to Berastagi, it is where the well-to-do elites of colonial Medan spent weekends and holidays relaxing and enjoying the temperate climate, away from the heat of the capital. Lush, beautiful and 4500 ft above sea level in the Karo Highlands, it continues as a popular “hill station” resort area. The name means “rice store” and the connotation of bountiful food is fitting. Berastagi is famous for its passion fruit. The main attractions of the town are the two active volcanoes; Mount Sibayak, with its hot springs, and Mount Sinabung. Each mountain can be climbed in one day, but a guide is needed.


➤ Visit the Central Fruit Market where you will have a chance to taste variety of Tropical Fruits,, vegetables and flowers.


➤ Check into the hotel. Dinner at hotel.



DAY 03: SHWEDAGON PAGODA REPLICA> MEDAN> GRAHA ANNAI VELANGKANY CHURCH> RUMAH MARKISA NOERLEN> MAIMOON PLACE> GRAND MOSQUE> PASAR IKAN> MEDAN MALL (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

➤ After breakfast visit Shwedagon Pagoda Replica at Taman Lumbini.The temple is modelled after the world's oldest pagoda, the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar. It is aptly known as Replika Pagoda Shwedagon. Within the compound of this temple is a large pagoda and eight small pagodas.


➤ Then Return to Medan


Medan is the capital and largest city of the Indonesian province of North Sumatra, it is a financial, trading, and economic center not only for North Sumatra province but for the whole Sumatra Island. For many foreign investors, Medan is not only rich in culture and history but also presents itself as a dynamic economic hub of the world.


➤ Visit Graha Annai Velangkany Church. The church is a functioning Marian Catholic church and one of the few churches to be dedicated as a pilgrimage site for Mother Mary known in India as Annai Velangkanni Arokia Matha (Our Lady of Good Health) and the genesis of the building's architectural style.


➤ Lunch at local restaurant.


➤ Visit Rumah Markisa Noerlen, you can see how to produce Passion Fruit to be a local food by homemade. The passion fruit juice produced here are fresh, produced right from fresh fruits and processed well. The local snacks and delicacies sold here are in good quality


➤ You will have a chance to visit Maimoon Palace, The palace has become a popular tourist destination in the city, not solely because of its historical heritage status, but also because of its unique interior design of the palace, combining elements of Malay cultural heritage, Islamic and Indian architecture, with Spanish and Italian furniture and fittings


➤ Visit the Grand Mosque of Medan or Masjid Raya Al-Mashun is a mosque located in Medan, Indonesia. The mosque was built in the year 1906 and completed in 1909. In beginning of its establishment, the mosque was a part of the Maimun palace complex. Its architectural style combines Middle Eastern, Indian and Spanish elements.


➤ Visit Pasar Ikan (traditional market), not like the name, Pasar Ikan Lama is not selling fish. The market is quite famous for the place selling textile.


➤ Note: If in most area/ province in Indonesia market is mean ” Pasar”. In Medan, people called market / pasar as “Pajak” Example: Pajak Petisah, Pajak ikan lama and etc.


➤ Explore Medan Mall, boasting of a variety of local and international brands, the Medan Mall is the go-to shopping destination in Medan city, on the Northeast coast of Sumatra Island. The mega mall has been hosting shoppers since the 1990’s. It can be found in the busy street of Jl. M. T. Haryono which is also home to the city’s Central Market. Although Medan Mall doesn’t have all the luxury facilities of its newer counterparts, it remains an integral part of Medan’s city life.
