➤ Namaste & welcome to the capital of India, New Delhi. Just a century ago, the British moved the seat of their empire from Kolkata to Delhi and it has been the Capital of India ever since. With its rich history that goes back many centuries, Delhi showcases an ancient culture. Being the Seat of many Powerful Empires in the past we can trace this today from its many carefully-preserved monuments, ancient forts and tombs. The city is as old as the epic Mahabharata. This town was known as Indraprastha, where the Pandavas used to live.
➤ You will be met and assisted upon arrival by our representative with a traditional welcome. After a short briefing you will be transferred to your hotel of choice for overnight stay.
DAY 02: FLY INTO VARANASI | GANGA ARATHI (Breakfast/Dinner)
➤ After early breakfast proceed to the airport to board your flight to Varanasi.
➤ Upon arrival, meet and greet assistance at the station and then transfer to the hotel for check in.
➤ Visit the ghats to Witness The Sunset Gangga Aarti Ceremony, an iconic ritual of Hindus. A memorable moment to photograph thousands of oil lamps floating on the river by the end of the ritual.
➤ Take a Boat ride on the Ganges River. You will witness various rituals taking place along the ghats. Devotees and priests perform the evening Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing ceremony where they offer prayers and lit lamps to the river. The Dashashwamedh Ghat is famous for its grand Ganga Aarti, attracting large crowds.
➤ After the boastride, you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 03: EARLY MORNING PRAYERS | TEMPLE VISITS | KASI VISWANATH (Breakfast/Dinner)
➤ Wake up early to witness rituals performed on the ghat for The Sunrise Gangga Aarti Ceremony.
➤ Morning prayers typically begin before dawn, usually around 5:00 AM to 5:30 AM, depending on the time of sunrise. It's advisable to arrive at the ghat a little earlier to find a good spot to witness the ceremony. As the first light of day breaks, the priests perform a highly choreographed ritual. They chant mantras, make offerings to the Ganges, and sway brass lamps in a synchronized manner. The sight of multiple lamps illuminating the pre-dawn darkness is both mesmerizing and spiritually uplifting. The Ganga Aarti is a symbolic act of devotion to the river Ganges, which is considered sacred and purifying in Hinduism. Devotees believe that witnessing this ceremony and participating in it can cleanse one's sins and bring spiritual blessings.
➤ Later, return to the hotel for breakfast.
➤ Thereafter proceed on a Guided Discovery Temples Tour of Varanasi visiting temples like Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple, Kashi Vishwanath temple, Annapurna temple, Manas Mandir BHU and others.
➤ After lunch travel to Ayodhya (approx 200km/4 hours). Ayodhya is a significant pilgrimage site in India, revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama, a central figure in Hindu mythology. It holds immense religious and cultural importance for millions of Hindus worldwide. Additionally, Ayodhya is known for its rich history, ancient temples, and sacred sites, attracting pilgrims and tourists seeking spiritual enlightenment and cultural immersion.
➤ Upon arrival transferred to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
➤ Priest for the Pindaan & Pooja ceremonies will be on direct payment basis. (Tamil Speaking priest available upon request)
DAY 04: FULLDAY GUIDED TOUR OF AYODHYAS RICH HERITAGE (Breakfast/Dinner)
➤ After breakfast embark on a journey through Ayodhya's rich heritage.
➤ Begin your tour at Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi. Visit Ram Janambhoomi Temple. The temple holds immense religious significance for Hindus as it is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, a revered deity in Hinduism.
➤ Next, venture to Hanuman Garhi Mandir, nestled atop a hill offering panoramic views of Ayodhya. This sacred site honors Lord Hanuman, symbolizing strength and devotion, with its distinctive architecture and serene ambiance. Ascend the steep steps to the main sanctum and partake in blessings and protection believed to be bestowed by the deity.
➤ Thereafter, explore Kanak Bhavan Temple, a sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita. Admire its intricate architecture and vibrant paintings, steeped in Hindu mythology. Dive into the legend of Queen Kaikeyi's gift of the golden palace to Sita, as depicted on the temple walls adorned with stunning murals portraying scenes from the Ramayana. Seek the blessings of Lord Rama and Sita for marital bliss and prosperity, as pilgrims have done for centuries.
➤ Next, venture to The mystical Guptar Ghat, located 10 kilometers from Ayodhya. This mystical site holds the aura of Lord Rama's last earthly bath before returning to his divine abode. Explore the Gupta Rameshwara cave, where Rama sought solace during his exile, attracting pilgrims and history enthusiasts alike.
➤ If time allows, visit the Tulsi Manas Museum & Sita Rasoi to delve deeper into Ayodhya's cultural tapestry.
➤ As evening approaches, Witness the mesmerizing Aarti Ceremony at Swarg Dwar Ghat , a deeply spiritual ritual accompanied by rhythmic chants. Conclude the evening's journey with a drop-off at your hotel, enriched by the spiritual treasures of Ayodhya.
DAY 05: FLY BACK TO DELHI AND DEPART (Breakfast)
➤ Enjoy your leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Rooms booked till 1200 hours.
➤ Thereafter transferred to airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival transferred to international terminal for your onwards flight.
