DAY 02: CEBU CITY & HERITAGE TOUR (Breakfast/Lunch)
➤ Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off on a fascinating tour showcasing Cebu’s unique blend of history, culture, religion and local craftsmanship.
➤ Visit Cebu Taoist Temple, a peaceful hillside temple showcasing Chinese-Filipino heritage, colorful traditional architecture, ornate dragon designs, and panoramic views of Cebu City.
➤ Drive through Fuente Osmeña Circle is a historic public park and landmark located in the center of Cebu City, Philippines. It is a circular open space along Osmeña Boulevard, known for its fountain, landscaped areas, and central location. It serves as a place for recreation, community gatherings, celebrations, and public events and is considered one of Cebu City’s recognizable urban landmarks.
➤ Step back in time at Casa Gorordo Museum, a historic house museum in Cebu City, Philippines, showcasing the lifestyle, culture, and domestic traditions of a prominent Cebuano family during the Spanish colonial period. The ancestral house was built in the 19th century and later became the residence of the Gorordo family. Today, it preserves period furniture, household objects, religious artifacts, and architectural features that reflect Cebu’s cultural heritage.
➤ See the Heritage of Cebu Monument an impressive sculptural tableau depicting significant moments and personalities from Cebu’s rich history. The dramatic sculpture includes scenes connected with Rajah Humabon, Ferdinand Magellan, the Battle of Mactan, Christianity’s arrival in Cebu, and other periods of Cebuano history.
➤ Explore Fort San Pedro is a historic military fortress located in Cebu City, Philippines. Originally established by Spanish forces under Miguel López de Legazpi in 1565, it was initially constructed using wood and was later rebuilt in stone. The fort served as a defensive structure and military stronghold during the Spanish colonial period.
➤ Explore more by visiting Magellan’s Cross one of Cebu’s most important historical landmarks, commemorating the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. The site commemorates the cross traditionally associated with Ferdinand Magellan’s expedition and the introduction of Christianity to Cebu in 1521. Today, the cross is housed inside a small stone pavilion with a distinctive painted ceiling depicting the planting of the cross and the baptism of Cebu’s early Christian converts.
➤ Visit Basilica Minore del Santo Niño one of the country’s oldest and most significant Roman Catholic churches. The basilica houses the revered Santo Niño de Cebu, a statue of the Child Jesus traditionally associated with Ferdinand Magellan’s 1521 expedition. The present church dates largely from the 18th century, although the original church on the site was established much earlier.

➤ After lunch, continue across to Mactan Island for more cultural and historical discoveries.
➤ Visit Lapu-Lapu Shrine, the monument honouring Datu Lapu-Lapu’s courage, leadership, and resistance against Spanish forces during the historic battle of Mactan and is an important symbol of Filipino heroism and independence.
➤ Discover Alegre Guitar Factory, Cebu’s tradition of handcrafted guitars and see how skilled local craftsmen create these beautiful musical instruments.
➤ Complete the day with some Souvenir Shopping for local delicacies, handicrafts and Cebu souvenirs.
➤ After the tour, transfer back to the hotel.

DAY 03: OSLOB WHALE SHARK EXPERIENCE > SUMILON ISLAND & SOUTHERN CEBU (Breakfast/Lunch)
➤ Prepare for an exciting day with an early breakfast or packed breakfast from the hotel, followed by an approximately 4:00 AM pick-up for the journey to southern Cebu.
➤ Travel through the coastal towns of Cebu towards Oslob, famous for its beautiful seaside scenery and marine attractions.
➤ Upon arrival in Oslob, proceed for Oslob Whale Shark Experience, is a popular marine tourism activity in Oslob, southern Cebu, Philippines, where visitors can observe whale sharks (butanding) at close range. Activities commonly include viewing the whale sharks from boats and entering the water to snorkel alongside them under local regulations.This memorable encounter offers a unique opportunity to appreciate one of the ocean’s largest marine species in the waters of southern Cebu.
➤ Side trip to the beautiful Sumilon Island, known for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque white sandbar. Enjoy the tropical surroundings and take in the beautiful coastal scenery. Depending on the tides, the shape and size of the famous sandbar may change throughout the day, making every visit unique.
➤ Weather and operating conditions permitting, enjoy a side trip to Tumalog Falls, a beautiful curtain like cascade waterfall surrounded by lush tropical greenery.
➤ Visit Boljoon Church the historic Nuestra Señora del Patrocinio de Maria Parish Church, it is known for its centuries-old architecture, religious artworks, and cultural importance and is recognized as a National Cultural Treasure.
➤ Explore Cuartel, the historic ruins of the old Spanish barracks located near Boljoon Church, offering another glimpse into Cebu’s colonial past.
➤ Stop at Shoe Expo, a locally made products and discover some of Cebu’s regional craftsmanship.
➤ Enjoy an opportunity to purchase popular Cebuano snacks, delicacies and treats to take home as “pasalubong” for family and friends.
➤ Lunch at local restaurant.
➤ After an adventure-filled day, travel back to Cebu City and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 04: FREE TO EXPLORE > DEPART (Breakfast)

➤ The morning is free at leisure, giving you time to relax, enjoy the hotel facilities or make some last-minute purchases before departure.
➤ At the designated time, check out from the hotel and meet our local representative for your transfer to Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
➤ Depart Cebu with wonderful memories of its fascinating history, warm Filipino hospitality, spectacular coastal scenery and unforgettable Oslob adventure.
