The Rumi Darwaza, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, is an imposing gateway which was built by Nawab Asaf-Ud-Daula in 1784. It is an example of Awadhi architecture. The Rumi Darwaza, which stands sixty feet tall, was modeled after the Sublime Porte in Istanbul. Also referred to as Turkish Gate, the ornate structure is marked by an eight-faceted umbrella-like structure in its uppermost part. Now a symbol of Lucknow, Rumi Darwaza was earlier used as an entrance gate to the Old City, and soars to a height of 60 ft. It was built to generate employment during the famine of 1784.

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI

DAY 02: DELHI /VARANASI (Breakfast/Dinner)

Airport meet our driver and transfer to Hotel for check-in and afternoon proceed for excursion to Sarnath-here Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to his five disciples after he attained enlightenment at Bodhgaya, Here visit Dhamekha Stupa, Ashok Pillar, Chowkhandi Stupa and MulagandhaKutiVihar and overnight stay at Varanasi.



DAY 03: VARANASI (Breakfast/Dinner)

➤ Early morning boat ride on river Ganges to see sunrise and followed by city tour of Varanasi:visit Ghats and Temples on the bank of river Ganges, Afternoon free at leisure and evening proceed to site the Ganga Aarti at Ganges river and back to hotel and overnight stay at Varanasi.



DAY 04: VARANASI - BODHGAYA (Breakfast/Dinner)

DAY 06: BODHGAYA - RAJGIR (Breakfast/Dinner)

➤ Morning check-out hotel and proceed to Patna, Enroute visit Rajgir-were Buddha spent 12 years and the first Buddha council after Buddha attained nirvana was held here, Nalanda is just 19 Kms from Rajgir, Founded in 5th century BC, was one of the world's great universities and an important Buddhist center, A credit to the curators, the site is peaceful, clean, well-maintained and perfumed with the scent of roses and shrubs, upon arrival at Patna, check-in into hotel and overnight stay at Patna.



DAY 07: PATNA - VAISHALI - KUSHINAGAR (Breakfast/Dinner)

➤ Morning check-out hotel and drive to Kushinagar-Lord Buddha is reputed to have breathed his last words "Decay is inherent in all components things" and expired at Kushinagar. DAY 08: KUSHINAGAR - LUMBINI (Breakfast/Dinner)

DAY 09: LUMBINI - SRAVASTI (Breakfast/Dinner)

DAY 10: SRAVASTI - LUCKNOW (Breakfast/Dinner)
