DAY 01: ARRIVE NEW DELHI

Visiting India for the 1st time? Wanting to travel to the most travelled Circuit of India? This very famous tour is known as the Golden Triangle Tour the most popular tourist circuit of India. The itinerary comprises of the three famous cities of India. Delhi(The Capital), Agra(City of the Taj) and Jaipur(Pink City of India) are famed cities for its grandeur, glory and history.

p/s: it is said that 'Every Tourist of the world must visit the Taj Mahal at least once in a lifetime'

Welcome upon arrival at Delhi International airport by DHESU India representatives.

After briefing by representatives transferred to hotel and overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02: TRAVEL TO JAIPUR (APPROX 258KM/ 6.5HRS) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After Breakfast at Hotel, drive to Jaipur. On arrival check into hotel for lunch.

Thereafter proceed for sightseeing of Jaipur City. The origins can be traced back to the 18th century during the reign of Jai Singh II. Prepare to look beyond the bustling metropolis to find its historical charm, such as the magnificent palaces, temples, lush gardens and pink plastered stone that gives Jaipur the popular name 'Pink City.'

You will also visit the pure white marbled temple The Birla Mandir. Unlike the traditional ancient Hindu temples, this is built with a modern approach. Apart from the religious idols, pictures and figures of several religious saints, philosophers and historical achievers, like Socrates, Buddha, Zarathustra and Confucius, are also included in the temple. A work of art, this temple truly represents architectural beauty, in a modern form.

Evening you will be taken for Bazaar Shopping.

DAY 03: TOUR JAIPUR (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After Breakfast at Hotel, proceed to visit Amer Fort situated on top of the Amber Hill. Enroute visit the famous Lake Palace and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) which is a palace in Jaipur. It is named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivities while unseen from the outside. Constructed of red and pink sandstone, the palace sits on the edge of the City Palace, and extends to the zenana, or women's chambers.

Therafter feel like a maharaja from the past as you ride up to Amber Fort on an elephant back outfitted with traditional Indian draperies. As you walk around the hilltop palace, constructed at the end of 16th century, learn about this excellent example of Rajput architecture from your guide. Admire breathtaking views of Maota Lake from the fortress as well as the palace's ornate design and unique architectural elements.

After lunch at Hotel, proceed with tour of Maharaja City Palace & Janter Manter (Observatory) Jaipur is also known as world's number 1 Gem cutting center. Gemstone both precious and semi-precious are brought here from all over the world and cut and polished before being re-exported. We visit one such center and showroom, which has been servicing the Royal family for last 500 years.

DAY 04: TRAVEL TO AGRA (APPROX 232KM/6HRS) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast at hotel, depart by surface for Agra.

Enroute 40km. of Agra is the Jama Mosque, Fatehpur Sikri is an awe inspiring structure. The mosque was built in 1571 under the patronage of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar the Great. The mosque is one of the largest in the world. The temple, quite like all other Mughal architecture, is built on a raised platform and has a large central dome with surrounding minarets and other smaller domes. The exalted courtyard is used for religious gatherings now, where devout Muslims gather to pray. Jama' Mosque in Fatehpur Sikri in Uttar Pradesh is built with a combination of red sandstone and fine, white marble.

After lunch at hotel proceed to TAJ MAHAL, one of the 7-wonders of the world built by Shah Jahan to immortalize his love for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The construction is said to have taken 22 years commencing from 1631 with 20,000 craftsmen. (Taj Mahal Closed on Friday).

Thereafter visit a cottage industry to witness skilled craftsmen doing fine marble inlay work. Proceed to Agra Fort built during the great Mughal era. This Fort built in 1569 on the banks of the Yamuna River has a number of exquisite buildings and several royal halls within its portals.

Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 05: PROCEED AND TOUR DELHI (APPROX 165KM/2HRS) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After an early breakfast depart for Delhi.

After lunch at local restaurant in Delhi, Proceed with sightseeing tour of the Old and New Delhi. Places covered include the Rajghat, India Gate, the Parliament and Secretariat buildings, Bahai Lotus Shaped Temple. Photostop view of Qutub Minar-the highest stone tower in India.

Evening proceed for Bazaar Shopping. Delhi is a fantastic place to shop. There's an astounding array of wonderful stuff : handicrafts, textiles, clothing, carpets, jewellery and a kaleidoscope of saris. The Bazaar's in Delhi estimate to have some 25,000 people within its confines at any given time and also attracts many foreign tourists. It is known as a place with the lowest prices.

DAY 06: TRAVEL TO SRINAGAR (APPROX 1.5HRS BY FLIGHT) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast transfer to Airport to connect flight to Srinagar, On Arrival you will be met by representative and transferred to your houseboat.

Srinagar City is famous for its gardens, lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits.

This is a place of splendid natural beauty, it's often referred to as the 'Land of Lakes and Gardens' or the 'Switzerland of India'.

The Gardens of Srinagar Srinagar's extensive, well-manicured, gardens date back to the Mughal era. They're abundant with bright blooms and stunning vistas. Start with Shalimar Bagh - The Abode of Love , which Mughal Emperor Jehangir built for his wife in 1619. Next, visit Nishat Mughal, Garden of Gladness, which borders Dal Lake. It was constructed in 1634 after Shah Jahan became the Emperor of India. Head to Pari Mahal for fabulous sunset views over Dal Lake and Srinagar. On the way you'll pass the Botanical Garden, where the famous Tulip Festival is held every April, and Chashme Shahi Gardens.

DAY 07: TOUR GULMARG SKI RESORT (APPROX 55KM/1.5HRS) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Morning after breakfast proceed for a picturesque drive to Gulmarg.

Gulmarg The Meadow of Gold, was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century. Prior to that, Mughal emperors vacationed in the Gulmarg valley. It has one of the world's highest green golf courses with 18 holes. Gulmarg also has one of the best ski slopes in the world.

After lunch proceed on a Cable Car Ride up the mountains. The Cable Car ride, popularly known as the Gondola Ride is the special attraction of Gulmarg.

There are two divisions of the ride one is from Gulmarg to Kongdoori and the second one is from Kongdoori to Apherwat. It starts from an elevation of 2690 m above sea level and go up to a height of 3090 m. It finally reaches Kongdoori by passing over the wonderful pine forests below.

The tourists enjoying the cable car ride get thoroughly enthralled by experiencing the magnificent sight of the greenery of the hilly terrains and the picaresque setting all around. The cable ride also overtakes the marvelous meadow of colorful flowers called Khilanmarg during its journey.

Phase 1 : Travel from Gulmarg to Kangdori which is at an altitude of 10,000 (ft) above sea level. It is a thrilling journey of 5 minutes amid the sky touching pine trees and threatening mountains.

Phase 2 (optional: approx Rs600/USD10) : Travel to Alpanther at a breathtaking and frightening height of 13,500feet above sea level. It is a journey of 20 minutes that ascend sharply in the rocky summit of the mountain. Sometimes the gondola even travels surpassing the clouds.

p/s: Heart Patients with respiratory problems and minors below 5 years cannot go for this ride. You are suggested to take warm clothes along as the weather can be extremely cold throughout the year.

Attraction Phase 1

a) Seven Springs- the point of origination of 7 springs and also a natural water source.

b) Khilanmarg which is a wide meadow covered with flowers and takes 30 minutes to reach on pony.

c) Ski slopes.

Attraction Phase 2

a) A bird's eye view of the lovely Kashmir Valley.

b) Alpanther Lake that is A continually frozen lake throughout the year. It's a 30 minutes walk from the peak of phase-II.

c) Rare Flowers: Rare flowers can be seen on the way while walking a little distance by foot.

Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar.

DAY 08: DAY TOUR TO PAHALGHAM (APPROX 98KM/3HRS) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast proceed to Pahalgam, known as Heaven on Earth. Its a small place of 2-3 km but you can spend a week without getting bored.

Known also as the Valley of Shepherds, this resort is set in a pristine village lying next to the Lidder River with breathtaking views.

Now its Kashmir Premier Hill Resort, cool even during the heights of summer. Its situated at an altitude of 2130 m above sea level and has a golf course at 2400 meters above sea level. Surrounded with fragrant pine forests, this idyllic resort includes a golf course and spots for angling.

The bubbling Lidder harbors a sizeable population of rainbow trout and mahaseer to ensure you dont come away disappointed. The nearby forested slopes are home to the Himalayan Brown Bear.

After having lunch, proceed to have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.

You can enjoy A Horse Ride at Pahalgam. (optional)

There are many places of interest, and because the resort is set between fairly steep hills, it is worth hiring a pony rather than walking. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine.

Later drive back to Srinagar.

DAY 09: RELAX ON THE LAKE AND FLY BACK TO DELHI (APPROX 1.5HRS BY FLIGHT) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, once again, enjoy a relaxing Shikara Ride on the lake. Said to be one of the most soothing & relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir.

Later you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to connect flight to Delhi.

Evening proceed for Bazaar Shopping.

After Farewell Dinner transferred to airport for your return flight back home.
