DAY 02: HALF DAY PERTH & FREMANTLE CITY EXPLORER (Breakfast)

After breakfast, proceed to the half day Perth and City Explorer tour. Starting in Perth City, the tour passes the WA Cricket Association ground at East Perth and the Venice like Harbourside development at Claisebrook. We move past the historic Royal Mint to the beautiful Kings Park botanical gardens, while here you can walk through the tree canopies on the Tree Top Walkway giving a birdseye view of Perth City Skyline.

Take a look at one of North West Australia most famous landmarks, the 750 year old Boab Tree, similar to a tree once used as a prison.

Later, we continue to one of Perth best beaches Cottlesloe Beach before arriving at the historic port town of Fremantle. An optional diversion to the Fishing Boat Harbour and Bathers Beach shows where the first settlers landed. Back at the Cappucino Strip time is allowed for a walk down the main street, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes or perhaps find a bargain at the markets (Fri, Sat & Sun Only). Part with the group here if you wish to explore other famous attractions. Make sure you take in the Maritime Museum, Fremantle Jail (own expense) or the E Shed Markets.

Alternatively, join back with the coach and return to Perth by road travelling past Perth most exclusive suburbs, the University of Western Australia, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jetty and the famous Swan Bell Tower (new Ferris Wheel).

DAY 05: PENGUIN ISLAND (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast, join SIC coach tour and experience the Penguin Island Tour.

Penguin Island is a unique nature reserve that is home to Western Australia’s largest colony of little penguins - the smallest species of penguin in the world. Penguin Island is blessed with beautiful beaches and is surrounded by dazzling, crystal clear waters.

Both locals and visitors from all over the world, catch the ferry or take a cruise to get up close to the wildlife*, explore nature trails, swim, surf, snorkel or to enjoy a family picnic and the safe, sheltered beaches.

The little penguins are very shy and can be very difficult to see in the wild but you can get up close and learn all about them with the rangers at The Discovery Centre. (During June to September the Penguin feeding takes place at Caversham Wildlife Park as the Discovery Centre is closed for the breeding season. As a result you are not likely to see Penguins on Penguin Island during June to September).

*Please note: Unfortunately, due to the inherent nature of viewing wild animals and sea-life in their natural habitat, sightings of wild Penguins, Dolphins, Sea-Lions and birdlife cannot be guaranteed. We can only guarantee Penguins in the Penguin Island Discovery Centre or at Caversham Wildlife Park in the winter months.

Enjoy a relaxing lunch with a drink at Pengo's Cafe in Shoalwater
