DAY 01: ARRIVE VARANASI | GANGA ARATHI (Breakfast/Dinner)

Arrive Varanasi, meet and greet assistance at the airport and then transfer to the hotel for check in.

Visit the ghats to Witness The Sunset Gangga Aarti Ceremony, an iconic ritual of Hindus. A memorable moment to photograph thousands of oil lamps floating on the river by the end of the ritual.

Take a Boat ride on the Ganges River. You will witness various rituals taking place along the ghats. Devotees and priests perform the evening Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing ceremony where they offer prayers and lit lamps to the river. The Dashashwamedh Ghat is famous for its grand Ganga Aarti, attracting large crowds.

After the boastride, you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 02: EARLY MORNING PRAYERS | KASI VISWANATH | KAL BHAIRAV | SARNATH (Breakfast/Dinner)

Wake up early to witness rituals performed on the ghat for The Sunrise Gangga Aarti Ceremony.

Morning prayers typically begin before dawn, usually around 5:00 AM to 5:30 AM, depending on the time of sunrise. It's advisable to arrive at the ghat a little earlier to find a good spot to witness the ceremony. As the first light of day breaks, the priests perform a highly choreographed ritual. They chant mantras, make offerings to the Ganges, and sway brass lamps in a synchronized manner. The sight of multiple lamps illuminating the pre-dawn darkness is both mesmerizing and spiritually uplifting. The Ganga Aarti is a symbolic act of devotion to the river Ganges, which is considered sacred and purifying in Hinduism. Devotees believe that witnessing this ceremony and participating in it can cleanse one's sins and bring spiritual blessings.

Thereafter we will introduce you to your priest for your Pind Daan Rituals. "Pind Daan" refers to the ritual of

offering food (pinda) to ancestors to seek their blessings and ensure their peace in the afterlife. This is a separate ritual

and is not directly related to the Ganga Aarti. Pind Daan is often performed at specific ghats in Varanasi, such as the

Manikarnika Ghat, which is considered one of the holiest for performing funeral rites and rituals.

Later visit The Kashi Vishwanath Temple of Banaras dedicated to Lord Shiva, the patron deity of the city, is one of

the most famous Hindu temples. The present-day structure is from the 18th century built by the Queen of Indore and

its gilded spire was a gift from Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Lahore.

Before heading back to the hotel for breakfast visit the Sacred Lolark Kund Stepwell. The kund is dedicated to

Lord Surya (the Sun God). Devotees believe that taking a dip in the waters of Lolark Kund during the auspicious

month of Bhadrapada (August-September) helps in the fulfillment of wishes, particularly for those seeking progeny.

Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Thereafter proceed to Kaal Bhairav Temple. Kaal Bhairav is believed to be the Kotwal (Chief police officer) of Creation; everyone who wants to exist in Creation(even if Gods) needs to take his permission to exist. He is also believed to be the Kotwal of "Sati pind" and without his permission, no one can touch the "Sati pind".

Next proceed to Sarnath, an ancient and historically significant city located near Varanasi. This is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. It is where Lord Buddha is said to have given his first sermon, known as the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, to his first five disciples after attaining enlightenment.

Later, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Priest for the Pindaan & Pooja ceremonies will be on direct payment basis. (Tamil Speaking priest available upon request)

DAY 03: FULLDAY TRIP TO PRAYAGRAJ | TRIVENI SANGHAM (Breakfast/Dinner)

After early breakfast depart for Prayagraj(formerly known as Allahabad) is a popular excursion for tourists and pilgrims. Prayagraj, located about 120 kilometers (75 miles) southwest of Varanasi, is known for its religious and historical significance, primarily due to the confluence of three sacred rivers: the Ganges, the Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati.

Upon reaching Prayagraj, head straight to the Triveni Sangam, the holy confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. You will take a boat ride to get closer to the confluence point. Witnessing and taking a dip in the confluence is a spiritually significant experience.

Visit Prayag Ghat, one of the prominent ghats along the banks of the Ganges River. Take some time to soak in the spiritual ambiance and observe the rituals taking place.

Thereafter take a Discovery Tour of Alahabad and then return to Varanasi. (entrances here not included)

Dinner and overnight stay in hotel at Varanasi.

DAY 04: TOUR VARANASI AND DEPART LATE EVENING (Breakfast)

After breakfast you will proceed on a Discovery Tour of Varanasi. Visit the 3 Historical Temples

Bharat Mata Temple: Visit the Bharat Mata Temple, dedicated to Mother India. It features a relief map of

undivided India carved out of marble.

Annapurna Temple: Explore the Annapurna Temple, dedicated to Goddess Annapurna. It is one of the Shakti

Peethas.

Tulsi Manas Mandir: Visit Tulsi Manas Mandir, an elegant temple dedicated to Lord Rama. The walls of the temple

are adorned with verses from the Ramcharitmanas.

For lunch you can Indulge in local street food at places like Kachori Gali and enjoy delicacies such as kachori,

chaat, and lassi.

Visit the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The university campus itself is worth exploring. The Bharat Kala

Bhavan Museum, New Vishwanath Temple, and the sprawling campus are notable attractions. Visitors are usually

allowed to explore the campus, including certain public areas, without any entry fees. However, specific faculties,

museums, or attractions within the university campus may have their own entry fees to be paid directly.

Thereafter visit the Famous Varanasi Old Bazaar's. Varanasi's old bazaars are a vibrant and bustling part of the

city, offering a rich tapestry of colors, sounds, and smells. Exploring these markets provides a unique experience,

allowing you to witness the local way of life and discover traditional crafts and goods. Exploring Varanasi's old bazaars

is not just about shopping; it's an immersive experience that allows you to connect with the city's rich cultural heritage.

Later in time we will drop you at the Varanasi airport for your onward flight.
