DAY 02: TRAVEL TO POKHARA (APPROX200KM/6.5HRS) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After Breakfast proceed to Pokhara, located 200 km. south of Kathmandu. (Approximately 6.5 hours)

Early rise to proceed on an inspiring early morning sightseeing glimpses of Pokhara Valley
Take an hour’s hike to Sarangkot (subject to weather) to reach the top to experience a panoramic view of the sunrise on the Annapurna range. Visit Bindabasini Temple while returning to the resort for breakfast.
Later proceed on a full day guided tour of Pokhara, visiting.
Gupteshwar Cave, where you will find a statue of the Hindu God, Shiva. It is said that this statue was formed naturally by the flowing waters of the cave.

After early breakfast return to Kathmandu via the scenic meandering Prithvi Highway.
Enroute take a break at riverside rest area restaurant for refreshments.
Upon arrival at Kathmandhu proceed on sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City.
Discover Durbar Square, which is presently known as Hanuman Dhoka, a name derived from the statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram. Many of the palaces and temples were built during the reign of the Malla Kings and are amazing examples of Newari Architecture. These historical attractions have been declared as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It includes: Kasthamandap the wooden building that is said to have given the city of Kathmandu its name , Taleju Temple one of the oldest temples in the square, THREE ROOFED Temple with its pyramid shaped bases, is an example of the typical Newari architectural style

Bouddhanath largest stupa of the world which is a very colossal structure standing tall majestically underneath the blue sky. This is the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism.
Thereafter drive to Nagarkot located 35 km from Kathmandu at an altitude of 2,175m. Nagarkot is known as the Himalayan Village on Top of The World. This place used to be the nature retreat of the royals with its unobstructed mountain panorama, which extends from Annapurna in the west to Everest in the east. Bask in the pleasant climate.
You will be taken to the lookout point to have amazing sunset views.

Pottery Square
Bhaktapur is famous for its traditional pottery industry. Bhaktapur has 2 famous pottery squares. With the exception of the planting and harvesting season, the potters of Bhaktapur are always busy shaping the natural clay into any imaginable shape. The craftsmen have passed this technique down from generation to generation and even today, the majority uses traditional techniques.

What to see?

Taleju Temple
The square\'s most magnificent temple stands at to the northeast but is not open to the public. Even Hindus can only visit the temple briefly during the annual Dasain festival. The Taleju Temple was built in 1564 by Mahendra Malla. Taleju Bhawani was originally a goddess from the south of India, but she became the titular deity, or royal goddess, of the Malla kings in the 14th century. Taleju temples were erected in her honor in Patan and Bhaktapur, as well as in Kathmandu.

Phewa Lake
Phewa Lake is a freshwater lake in Nepal located in the south of the Pokhara Valley. The lake is stream-fed but a dam regulates the water reserve, therefore, the lake is classified as semi-natural freshwater lake. It is the second largest lake in Nepal and the lake is famous for the reflection of mount Machhapuchhre and other mountain peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges on its surface.
