Tagaytay Ridge situated around 2,250 feet above sea level, Tagaytay is one of the Philippines' favourite highland destinations, known for its refreshing climate, picturesque countryside and magnificent views overlooking Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. Taal Lake and Taal Volcano are closely connected: Volcano Island is inside Taal Lake, while the lake itself fills the much larger Taal volcanic caldera. So the small-looking island seen from Tagaytay is only part of a much larger volcanic system. |
