DAY 04: TOUR JAFFNA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
➤ After breakfast, proceed to Kurikkaduwan Jetty and take a short boat ride to the island of Nainativu. Here, visit the sacred Nagapooshani Amman Temple, an ancient shrine dedicated to Goddess Parvati. According to legend, the temple was originally built by the Nagas and is associated with the divine serpent. The temple is also famous for its festivals, during which thousands of Hindu devotees from all over the region gather for worship. The site holds great religious and cultural importance, making it one of the must-visit spiritual landmarks in Jaffna.

➤ In the afternoon, proceed to the historic Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, one of the most significant Hindu temples in Sri Lanka, dedicated to Lord Murugan. The temple has a long and fascinating history, having been originally established in 948 A.D., then demolished and rebuilt multiple times under Chola, Sinhalese, Portuguese, and Dutch rule. Along the way, admire the ancient frescoes, water gardens, and unique architecture that showcase the brilliance of King Kashyapa’s 5th-century engineering. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views across the lush central plains. (Entrance fee approx. USD 35 per person)
